- Nisargadhama: It is an island close to Coorg that River Cauvery had created. There is built a hanging bridge to connect people with this island. - Talakaveri Wildlife Sanctuary: It is home to several wild animals like leopards, tigers, porcupines, jackals, cobras, giant flying squirrels, elephants and pythons. This wildlife sanctuary is located close to Coorg and has its name derived from Talakaveri, River Cauvery’s origin. This is also considered to be an ideal trekking destination. - Bhagamandala: It is considered to be the confluence of the rivers Kanika and Cauvery. Another river is known to join this confluence and is named river Sujyothi. Pilgrims in huge numbers visit this river confluence (Sangama) to take a holy dip during auspicious days. The temple complex of Bhagandeshwara houses three temples, namely, Shri Narayana, Shri Subramanya and Shri Bhagandeshwara. These temples, according to historians are 10+ centuries old.
