Make sure that you have checked into your booked Avianca Flight on time. If you are flying to or from the United States or Canada, check in online at least 24 hours before the departure of your flight, and at least 48 hours before. You may do this in person at our airport counters or kiosks, or from any device. Remember that you have to be at the airport two hours in advance for domestic flights in Ecuador and Colombia and three hours in advance for international flights. In order to activate any unique services you would want to request, please arrive one hour early.

Check in through Mobile App
Select Check-in when you launch the Avianca app or go to avianca.com in your browser.
Input your ticket number or booking code and supply the necessary data.
Keep in mind that your boarding permit will be sent to your phone when you check in online; printing it is not necessary.

You can check-in to the Avianca booked ticket by visiting the official website. Open the browser and follow the below mentioned instructions-

Avianca Check-in at counters
You need to visit the airport for the counter check-in for your booked Avianca ticket.
For domestic flights, you have until 45 minutes before take-off to obtain your boarding card online; for international flights, you have until 60 minutes.
Verify that there are less than eight passengers on your reservation and that there are no more than two connections between your origin and destination on your flight schedule.
If you have any special services assigned to you or if your travel itinerary includes codeshare flights (shared aircraft segments), you will not be able to check in online.
You may only check in for flights operated by Avianca for connections with other carriers.
Avianca KIOSK Check in
In order to avoid standing in large lines or paying extra for counter check-in, use the airport kiosks if you are unable to check in online or would rather do it in person.
What you should be aware of:
The kiosks are often located in front of the counter queues at airports.
Instead of going through the check-in desks, you may utilize the kiosks to check in and print your boarding ticket.
For international flights, remember to be at the airport check-in counter up to three hours before departure; for local flights, allow two hours.
