She spent more than seven years in school to earn a law degree. It was her grandfather who died in South Africa, which inspired and motivated her to continue her dreams. He wrote to her then law student, Vikki Ziegler, telling her that she was proud to become a lawyer and earn her valuable salary. He was 87 years old at the time of his death. It was in her blood to become a lawyer. Her persuasiveness and logical reasoning skills were seen early in her life. According to an article on NJ.com, Vikki persuaded her parents to have her joint custody after her divorce. She loved her parents very much, but when she saw their relationship collapse, she decided to pursue marriage law.
